Course Description :
Students will build a solid foundation in writing by learning about the structure and organization of writing. They will learn how to write good stories or essays by formulating a main idea or thesis, organizing and grouping similar ideas or sentences into a paragraph. Also, they will work on constructing paragraphs with evidences to support the main idea and finishing an essay with a good conclusion. Students will practice what they have learned by writing their own stories or views on issues, revising and proofreading them for grammar and mechanics to sharpen their writing skills.
