A microcontroller is a small cpu or brain embedded in most electronic equipment these days to control an electromechanical system connected to it. It's used in automobiles, airplanes, elevators,dvd players, themal controllers, and any electrical system that requires control.
Students are introduced to programming a microcontroller to control electrical devices connected to it such as LEDs, a motor, sensors, and other circuit parts. Students will learn about how a microcontroller works and gain valuable programming experiences through several electrical projects.
